Time Warp

Say you want to do a thread that happened in the past, or even in the future, then this board is where that would go. This board allows you to roleplay without the constriction of time, so you can write out really whatever you have planned for the past or future with other people.

Oneshots

Sometimes, there's an important point of your character's life, that you just can't write out with someone else. These oneshots can be at any time, at any place, and you can be doing just about anything you want. With that in mind, have fun!

Alternate Universe

Where all your wildest dreams come true. Nothing in this board is bound by TPR canon, unless you want it to be, and pretty much anything, so long as you follow the terms of service, is allowed.

The Riverside

On the west side of this particular neighborhood, the North River stretches, separating New York and nearby New Jersey. It's also been rumored that this is a great dumping ground for the targets of the Upper West Side faction, but I wouldn't say that too loud if I were you.

Streets

Despite the posh look to the Upper West Side, and the uppity beliefs of most of the people who live there, there are still streets and slums.

Greenwich Commerce

In the land of the hippies and business moguls comes quaint shopping centers, restaurants, shady convenient stores, cigars bars, and underground speakeasies.

Washington Square Park

A lush space of greenery that lies at the Heart of Greenwich Village where on any given day one can see NYU students studying beneath a tree or some hippie song artists singing with a dancing monkey. In the middle of the park, there is a large, round fountain that is the center of summertime activity.

Hotel Albert

Located on E. 10th Street, Hotel Albert is a well-renown hotel boasting Mark Twain, Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol, and Salvador Dali as some of its famous clientele.

The Ballroom

Never heard of it? Probably because you shouldn't have. A secret, strictly magical club that's labeled an abandoned deli to the magical eye, this is a booming center for magical night-life in Chelsea and the surrounding areas. But many should be wary - on top of being a secret speak-easy, it also happens to be a home base for, well, alternate sexual practices, so to speak.

Streets

A largely residential borough, the streets of Chelsea are relatively quiet... most of the time. It also means that Chelsea makes for an ideal trafficking business, and any citizen should be wary of back-alley deals and shady individuals.

Washington Market Park

Washington Market Park is Tribeca’s neighborhood park with a large playground and courts for the community. During the day, it's a luscious place to sit and read. But at night, the homeless can become rather restless.

The Streets

The streets of Tribeca are considered rather safe, but it's not because of the coppers - oh no. The Tribeca Don runs a very tight ship, a ship that may or may not be teetering.

Chinatown Streets

The streets of Chinatown, cluttered with passing people and heavily polluted by smog, chain-smoking, and the stench of booze - or bodies, perhaps?

Central Harlem

The largest collection of African American residences in Harlem, this also happens to be the heart of a lot of crime within Harlem, whether it's hate crime or shady dealings. Just take care to watch your step.

Streets

Despite the fact that Harlem is as much under mob control as any other faction in the area, the streets certainly aren't as safe. Whether it's because of the shabby nature of the streets and the general poverty of the people or if it's because the Don hasn't been responsible with his power, it's unknown, but the risk is still there.

Midtown West

Time Square

Time Square is the hustle and bustle of tourists and residents alike. The flashy lights and crowded streets make Time Square feel alive at any time during the day. With so many people coming in and out, the Coppers certainly keep their eyes peeled for any suspicious activities.

Midtown East

Upper East Side

Somehow, despite it's ultra-posh, nouveau riche, residents, it seems that the Upper East Side has not yet fallen prey to the shady dealings of the New York Underground.

Financial District

The epicenter for business and shady ponzi schemes. People in high-powered suits carrying briefcases are always walking along these streets with their noses up in the clouds (or in someone's behind). No one seems to pay any attention to the fluctuation in the stock market.

First Floor

This is the ground floor, accessed through a pair of heavy oak doors, and the first thing that most students see at the beginning of term.

Second Floor

The only floor that is mostly non-restricted. Honors and non-honors students alike are welcome here, just be prepared for each student to stick to their respective clique, and for people who try to break into the other side to be looked down on.

Third Floor

Mostly specifically reserved for Honors students, at least as far as classrooms are concerned.

Fourth Floor

One of the quietest floors of the school, mostly because of the grisly history of this floor. Not that most of the students, or even the staff, know the story anymore.

Library

One would not expect such a small building to have such a large library, but nevertheless, one exists, and it's stocked full of books and tables used for studying.

The Chapel

This chapel was once used for religious ceremonies, but now it is used for a kind of studying room, where students can go during their free periods and just spend time away from the watchful eyes of their professors.

Courtyard

Behind the school, there is a small, stone courtyard where the students can meet and hang out during free periods, and before and after classes.

Game Room

I know you have all heard about those lovely forum games. Well, this is a spot for all of that! Feel free to participate in an existing one or make your own!

This is where the many talented graphics artists can put up their galleries so our lovely members can request some of their work.
