[presto] Irene here is Rose Martin's maid; a poor woman who must attempt to keep up with an energetic feminist eager to throw her chaff to the wind and begin living a full life. Irene is hired (and thus paid) by Herman Martin, who would like to keep his pretty daughter looking elegant and primed to marry a wealthy young man who will take care of her. So, caught between two titans of stubbornness, lives Irene. Both her employer and her mistress don't seem to mind that Irene is Irish - she is free to attend mass, and the racial slurs are absent from the home. Which is probably one of the biggest reasons Irene doesn't seem interested in leaving the family. Irene's family, background, history, and even user group and allegiances are entirely up to the player. Suggested FC is Jane Aldridge, but really any redhead will do! [/presto]Irene muggle or muggleborn 20-30 | [presto] Florence attended both Warren and Russell Sage College with Rose Martin. The two girls are best friends, and have been since their first week of school. While attending Russell Sage, both girls discovered feminism, but Florence was bitten with it more madly than the much more reserved Rose. Florence now lives in New York, working for an underground feminist newspaper which proclaims to tell the "real truth"; as a result, Florence is not on good speaking terms with her (middle or upper class) parents, or much of New York's more elite society. Rose has remained in touch with Florence, and hopes to convince her friend to come work with her in Warren and break ground as professors of courses that are not traditionally held by women. Thus far, Florence seems more interested in making waves and being a visible bannerwoman for the cause. Suggested FC is Lyndsy Fonseca, but any other woman of the appropriate age is acceptable.
